APPLICATION PROCESS

Members love talking about our club, so if you have questions, want to visit our boats, or just want to learn more about us before you join, go to Contact Us and request a call. One of our members will be in touch with you shortly.​  When you're ready to join, complete an application form and send it, along with membership dues, to P.O. Box 557, Old Mystic, CT 06372.  
 

ANNUAL CLUB DUES

2019 Membership dues for A.I.I. is $30, a portion of which is used to support the sailing programs at the Mystic Seaport Museum.  Members who also wish to participate in the open-water keelboat sail-training program (A.I.M.S.) must pay additional dues depending on their level of participation (See below.) and possess a Connecticut Safe Boating Certificate or equivalent.

There are two levels of membership in the A.I.M.S. program.

• Skipper:  Members at this level have demonstrated mastery of the skills on the Skipper Checklist.  Skippers can take club boats out for sails within the boundaries of the club's sailing area.  ​

• Crew:  Members at this level crew on sails scheduled by skippers.  They are developing mastery of the skills needed to skipper a boat independently.​

All Members of Anderson Island Irregulars must be members of Mystic Seaport Museum.
